IED @ Triennale di Milano, 2017
The Axys table system departs from technical research to arrive at an aesthetic experience. It is an innovative juxtaposition that unites glass with a colourful painted surface, giving life to a table mixing technology and emotion, rigour and creative impulse. The four slender legs support a 12mm thick transparent glass top, generously sized. It is extremely customisable in both colour and dimensions.”Il futuro non è più quello di una volta” – “The future isn’t what it used to be”
Realized for the exhibition “La luna è una lampadina – 50 anni IED” at La Triennale di Milano. It is a contemporary reinterpretation of the retro-futuristic movement of the 60s (IED was opened in 1967). The artwork combines the contemporary idea of future with some master piesces by Joe Colombo, Eero Aarnio, Verner Panton, Dieter Rams.
